Kokua Lab is starts with a love for the creative process, a need to work on something meaningful, and a desire to be financially free. We come up with business ideas that make the world a little better, then we throw them up against the wall to see what sticks.
The Ready, Fire, Aim approach. Ideas are everywhere. I have a drawer-full of them and little to show for it. I tend to get hung up on the planning phase. So Kokua Lab will launch with an experiment designed to improve my ability to execute. Every day for 30 days, I will build and launch a new online venture, and add it to the list below.
Argentina's Travel Guide
Currently receiving 1000s of search-engine visitors a day and built on a highly customized WordPress installation, ArgentinasTravel.com is a project I launched from Buenos Aires in early 2008. The purpose was to capitalize on the large influx of new American tourists to Argentina. So, in the span of 3 months and with a team of myself, Emily, and Brian, we took the site from obscurity to the second-most popular Argentina tourism site. This was a stretch project for me as I had to focus on project management, marketing, revenue-models, and SEO in addition to building the actual site.
